The third volume (Zayin-Tet) in the Dictionary of Classical Hebrew Revised (DCHR), edited by the late Dr. David J. A. Clines, is now available for order from Sheffield Phoenix Press. The fourth volume (Yod-Lamed) is expected in 2024, with subsequent volumes appearing roughly annually thereafter. Additionally, The Shorter Dictionary of Classical Hebrew Revised is expected to be available in late July 2024. It is intended to be a replacement for the classic Hebrew dictionary Brown Driver Briggs, known as BDB for short, which was first published in 1906. The Shorter DCHR will be significantly larger than The Concise Dictionary of Classical Hebrew, which appeared in 2009.
